Glacier River Retreat is one of my top 3 favorite vacation rentals. My husband & I like this house so much, we got married here. We have also had a fun company Christmas Party here & one of our employees celebrated his 50th birthday here. The views are awesome and the back deck and grounds just invite you to barbecue a steak, sip a nice glass of Oregon wine & watch the river flow by.

Glacier River Retreat was so comfortable and cozy - it looked like a home. I was amazed by the view of the stars through the living room windows. The kitchen was well stocked - I love to cook and appreciate the high end cookware! September 2007
Cecilia was just awesome! As well as Carrie! They both went above and beyond the call of duty. We have stayed in your homes several times this year as well as last year. We come back because your staff is so fabulous! I love to talk to you guys!
We had a great stay & no complaints!!! Just to let you know the garbage from the previous guests was still in the garage, the placemats were dirty & we had trouble keeping the house warm, but had a wonderful stay. Thank you.
Thanks for the important info, Karen. The garbage and dirty placemats were certainly a housekeeping oversight that should have been caught by us.
The Glacier River Retreat has a very efficient heat pump as well as a blower on the fireplace that usually keeps the house super toasty. We will keep an eye on the heating system to be sure it is functioning properly.
