Timberline and Meadows opened this weekend with the minimum amount of snow needed. However, good news is on the way. It is expected to snow all week down to 2000-3000 feet, staying cold with highs in the 30's in Welches and the 20's at the ski areas. It looks like next weekend will be ready to go with plenty of snow at the higher elevations.

The Big Dog & Sparky had a great time at Meadows on Thursday. The snow is so good that the Big Dog went back with Brownie today. Lots of light fluffy snow to be found and cold all day. And not very crowded, either.
